A child’s cough
A worker’s broken bones
Health issues we have
No knowledge of
A woman’s hip
A man’s neck
None of which
Can afford to be fixed
To bring a child
Into the world
Will rob you blind
A vehicle designed
To aid those who are in need
Cannot be afforded
By the masses
We were promised
A right to liberty
Pursuit of happiness
But most of all
A right to life
Where did it go
There’s no right to live here
A right to pain
A right to poverty
A right to strife
