A towering mountain
Rising up above the skyline, The cold bites at your skin And you know it’s time to shine. Gather yourself; Feel the wind in your hair. Smile to the danger; Feel the joy in the air. This is the beginning. A barren dry desert, There’s nothing that’s near. Which way should you go? How’d you end up here? You must keep your head And keep pushing through, For if you give up now You’ll never know what to do. This is the middle. A quiet lush valley, There’s a song in the sky. This isn’t what you’d see When you thought you’d get by. But for once you are happy And for once you don’t plead, And although it isn’t grand It’s exactly what you need. This is the end.
