Intimacy is a funny, fickle thing
Isn’t it?
You give your soul to someone
And they leave
You give your heart to someone
And they tear you apart
Intimacy
Everyone thinks it’s a thing of love
But intimacy
Is the knowledge they have
To hurt you
When you let them in
They know exactly the place to strike
The way to twist the knife
To make you scream
That’s the intimacy
Not the love
But the pain
