How can you exist
So presently in my mind
Without a candle in my life?
My family asked about you last night
We haven’t spoken in three years
Your sweater is still in my room
I still know your fears
I don’t know what school you go to
If you’re still in school
When I see your posts on Instagram
On the rare occasion I check your profile
I don’t even recognize you
But I still love you like the day that we met
So I’ll ask you again
