Besides lemons and paint
Just last week when I called her
She looked like she'd faint
She keeps talking about
How life never ends
How no one gives a damn
Not even her friends
I think she wants to throw it
All away
She's just waiting for the day
I'm worried about her
And I'm telling you this
Because I see her breaking
I see her start to tear
And you said that you're worried
You said that you care
So do us all a favor
Don't pretend to give a damn
I need someone to save her
God knows I can't
So do what it takes
Show her you care
And make sure tomorrow morning
She'll be right there
