NOTE: I've never tried one of these "create a poem with these words" prompts because I thought I'd be bad at them but I actually really like this one!

The shot flies through the air Screeching in my ears, Whirling past my hair. And before I can blink My skin’s no longer smooth, Blood is pouring And he’s there trying to soothe. It’ll be alright, It’ll all be alright, Just close your eyes. I swear this’ll work. Stay calm and breathe slow, Hold on don’t let go, Just close your eyes. Dark.
