48. Night Owl: Write about staying up late at night.

The stars are alight in the sky
Twinkling and burning so bright
As ideas whirl around in my head
I think I ought to go to bed
But instead I stay up all night

I look up at my ceiling and stare
With my silent house comes peace
And although I miss your voice
I know it’s not your choice
I have my memories at least

So as I stare up at the ceiling
And hold my blankets tight
It’s cold and it’s dark
But here there’s a spark
So I’ll just stay up all night
