Your eyes blaze like fire
Your face tears with so much pain
But still you haven’t given up
You’ve been beaten and been bruised
Come through hell and back again
But still you haven’t given up
People have tried to use you
You think you’re nothing more
Than a pawn in their game of chess
But still I must confess
You’re stronger than they ever thought you’d be
Somehow their torture and lashes
Made you strong enough
To get through it all
Without ever giving up
