Through every scratch and every skid
But I promise you I worked
Through every day and every night
I tried to make it work
I tried so hard to fight
It’s not good enough

Trying doesn’t count
If you don’t succeed
Every effort every deed
They will not amount
You didn’t try hard enough
I didn’t try hard enough
I tried to do it right
Doesn’t matter in the end
Cause it didn’t work my friend
Just stop putting up your fight
