His eyes meet mine
Across the room he shouts
He’s angry, seeing red
I wish I was somewhere else instead
Please look at me
It’s just a misunderstanding
His anger hits the wall
His fist shatters our lives
All I want to say
Before he storms away
Is look at me
It’s just a misunderstanding
I didn’t mean to hurt you
I didn’t mean to tear
Everything we have built
I know I caused you quite a scare
But it isn’t my fault
I didn’t do a thing
Let me explain
